Duraco Specialty Tapes

Double sided foam tapes are organized into two family types:

Dubl Kote = rolls

Twin Stick = cut pieces of foam tapes. Available as cut on a sheet (pads) or cut on a roll.

White and black. White is the most popular color, so more skus of white are in stock. 1/32″ and 1/16″ thickness most popular.

Adhesive types are rubber and acrylic. Rubber will work for most applications and offer better bonding across more substrates. Use acrylic is direct exposure to light or exposed to high heat.

Duraco Red

This is an 8mil thick acrylic film tape with a red film liner. The adhesive is clear with very high tack acrylic, which makes it useful for sticking to UV coated prints.

Note that most tapes that are marketed as Duraco Red, Monster Red, Killer Red are imported products.

Duraco High Bond

Also known as abbreviated VHB. Used for bonding mainly metals and other high energy materials. While VHB tapes are the strongest tapes on paper (specification sheet), it may not be the best for your application. Wrong appliaction use of VHB is perhaps the most common misuse of adhesive tapes we see.
